What does the lifetime guarantee cover?

The lifetime guarantee covers paint failures such as delamination, cracking, loss of adhesion and other failures of that nature.  The guarantee does not cover rock chips, scratches, candys, flexible plastic parts, or negligence on the consumers part to care for the painted surface.

How important is it to pressure test and seal fuel tanks and oil tanks?

It is a must!  I will not paint your parts unless they are pressure tested and sealed.  If fuel and oil tanks are not sealed and tested to hold pressure, there is a 99.99% chance they will leak!  And will ruin your paint job.  In the end it will cost you twice as much to have your motorcycle painted.  The best way to seal your parts is having them nickel plated.  I will provide that service for an additional charge.

Can plastic parts be painted?

Yes, but  more flexible the part, the more chance of the paint cracking and flaking off.  Extra steps are taken to prevent this from happening and paint thickness is kept to a minimum.  So my advice is unless you have an unlimited cash flow I suggest not painting plastics on dirt bikes or ATV's.  Because of the flexibility and the vibration they sustain I cannot warranty paint work on them.

How do I take care of my new paint job?

Average cure time for clearcoat is 3- 6 months, depending on film thickness and regional location.  Please do not use wax before this time or you will cause future paint problems.  If you do things right you shouldn't have to anyway.  To clean your paint use mild soap and water. Dry with a clean soft towel or self absorbing cloth.  Don't wipe off dust and dirt with a dry towel, you will scratch the paint!  To keep light dust off during shows and in between washings, use a detailer spray and wipe off with a quality detail cloth.  Meguiar's or Wizards works well.  If you follow these steps you won't have to use wax.
